March is Endometriosis Awareness Week

March may seem like any other month to many, but for millions of individuals worldwide, It’s a time to educate, advocate, and break the stigma surrounding endometriosis. March is endometriosis awareness month.  What is endometriosis? According to the Endometriosis Foundation of America, “Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the inner lining of the uterus, also known as the endometrium, is found outside its normal location, where the tissue should not be.” Right now, there is no known exact cause or cure for endometriosis.

Book Review: Daisy Jones & the Six

“‘You’ll be Daisy Jones & The Six.’ And no one was happy, but everyone was kind of equally dissatisfied.”

This quote easily sums up the story of an up-and-coming rock band and free-spirited young talent in the ’70s, as told in the novel Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Sally Rooney’s new book will not be published in Hebrew

Sally Rooney has recently come under fire for boycotting an Israeli publishing house. This boycott resulted in her new title, “Beautiful World, Where Are You,not getting Hebrew publication. The Irish author is well known for her books “Normal People,” which was developed into a hit Hulu series, and “Conversations with Friends.”
