GWUOHS Decorates for the Holidays

As winter solstice approaches, the sky is becoming darker earlier each day, but GWUOHS students and teachers are instead brightening their homes with decorations for the holidays. From Christmas trees and cozy fireplaces to menorahs for Hannukah and outdoor inflatables, the GWUOHS community is celebrating the festive season.

Winter break at beings on Dec. 23, and school will reopen on Jan. 5, 2026.

Divya is a junior at GWUOHS, and this is her fourth year at the Chronicle. She created and maintains the online news site, and as the editor-in-chief, she works closely with staff reporters to review articles, in addition to writing her own. At GWUOHS, Divya also leads the Model UN Club and Girls Who Code Club. Aside from writing, her passions include linguistics, reading, and global affairs. She looks forward to continuing to serve as a liaison between the news and the school community.
