Divya is a junior at GWUOHS, and this is her fourth year at the Chronicle. She created and maintains the online news site, and as the editor-in-chief, she works closely with staff reporters to review articles, in addition to writing her own. Aside from the Chronicle, Divya leads the Model UN Club and is a member of Yearbook Club, National Honor Society, Performing Arts Club, Writing Lab and the Peer Mentor Program. Aside from writing, her passions include linguistics, research, cryptography, reading, and global affairs. She looks forward to continuing to serve as a liaison between the news and the school community.

Naima is a 12th grader at GWUOHS and is proudly working in her third year in the Chronicle as an editorial board member. She is very passionate about reading, writing, exploring new cultures, and traveling. Outside of the Chronicle, she is in the Peer Mentor Program, the president of the UNICEF Club, and a member of the National Honor Society. Naima approaches every challenge with dedication and a commitment to growth.”

Elizabeth is in 11th grade and currently lives in Tyler, Texas but is originally from the Greater Philadelphia Area. This is her first year at GWUOHS, where she is focusing on studying the humanities, particularly in areas of history and anthropology. As well as this, Elizabeth is a member of the debate, photography, UNICEF, UYAN and performing arts clubs. She has received the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Award and the AP Scholar Award. Elizabeth is currently a member of the East Texas Youth Orchestra’s Jazz Band, where she performs from January until May. Outside of school, Elizabeth enjoys collecting vinyl records, shooting film photography, writing and watching movies.
